Sadly missed by aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. And also by her fur baby, Precious.

Betty was a resident of Chatham Kent for many years until she met her true love in 1990. Married in 1991, they divided their time between Michigan and Florida for the past 33 years.

They have traveled all over the USA, Hawaii, Bahamas, and Mexico.

She was very involved with the church where she sat on the church council, was a Eucharistic minister, the coordinator of weddings and rehearsals and was involved with the homeless, helping them get on the right path of life. She even made the drapery for the church. She worked with hospice patients with her devoted dog Baby Girl.

She enjoyed cooking, canning and won blue ribbons for her apple pies and took classes on Chinese cooking. She had many hobbies including sewing, stained glass, refinishing antique furniture, making Victorian lampshades and upholstering furniture. Her passions were gardening, painting with acrylics & oils and dancing. Tom and Betty spent many years line dancing together.

They were avid boaters and members of the Bluewater Wood Turners of Michigan.

She had so many talents, and there was nothing she could not do. She adored her grandchildren, who were her greatest treasures.

Betty, you will be dearly missed by all.
