Obituary of Niels Fisker Hooge
Hooge, Neils Fisker
A resident of Chatham, formerly of British Columbia, Neil Hooge peacefully passed away after a 6 year fight with cancer at the Chatham-Kent Hospice on Tuesday, September 27, 2022 at the age of 61.
He was the son of the late Carl & Henny (nee Thompson) Hooge.
Neil will be deeply remembered by his brother, Henning Faurschou, his nephew, Steven Faurschou and spouse Tara; nieces Laura Lind and spouse Travis & Diana Faurschou.

Neils was a decorated soldier first serving in the Army Reserve and then joining the Navy. He retired after multiple tours and ship assignments. He was a lifelong gamer and amateur historian. He loved to paint and entertain his friends.
Family and friends will be received on Friday, October 7th, 2022 at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham from 12:00 pm until a Celebration of Neil's life at 2:00 pm. Cremation to follow.
In memory of Neil, memorial donations may be made to the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 642 and would be appreciated by the family.
