Aunt Helen and family,
Through our conversations with Jessie, we have thought and prayed for Ralph's journey to his eternal rest, so be blessed and encouraged that even folks in Russia were supporting you in prayer. We seldom got to fellowship with you and we only caught a couple Boxing Day dinners with the Bisschop clan, but with Uncle Ralph it was always one of the highlight to catch a vigorous conversation with him. I always appreciated his enthusiasm and efforts to bring some realistic sense and light-hearted humour into some of the issues of the day, be it within the family or in the wider society. We'll remember him for his passion for the church and the essential message of what Jesus Christ accomplished for each one of us on the cross. I believe he lived in that victory, and now has joyful grin in heaven awaiting the rest of us. Warm greetings to each of you in the family, we're Ontario-bound in a few weeks, so we hope to see you soon. Gary and Galina Timmerman

Bisschop family, I was saddened to hear of the passing of Ralph who I remember fondly as a child as he was an avid sports collector and I still have many of the card sets that he would put together every year. I will also always remember the last time I joined them to a Michigan State football game. Was a fantastic time and will always cherish. Offering my deepest condolences to the family

Dear Aunt Helen, Kerry, Jason, Corey, Vanessa and your respective families, our condolences to all of you in your loss today. Wow where do you begin to describe your husband, father and grandfather.
My family remembers Uncle Ralph well and words from all of us are spiritual, positive, “great laugh”, loved a conversation (or debate) and was a true sports fan come to our minds. Your spirit touched many people in so many ways which is why people migrated to be touched by your soul. Personally loved every movement spent with you as you were genuine, balanced & opinionated, warm and truly caring. Your devotion to your faith, your family (all of them) and to your spirit has transcended amongst so many. We thank you for touching our lives during your time and will await our reunion some day soon. Our thoughts, prayers, hugs and smiles are with your family today during their loss as we feel their loss as well. Thanks Uncle Ralph for being part of our lives. Your memory will never be lost.

I first got to know Ralph as the brother of one of my best friends, Henry. Later, we became better acquainted during our vacations in Erieau where Ralph and Helen kept a trailer. There were good conversations punctuated by his hearty laugh, roaring fires on the beach and a mandatory visit to the old Cadillac in Blenheim for a few glasses of beer. I remember those occasions, and Ralph, fondly.
