It is with great sadness that the family of Marjorie Lefaive (nee Russell) announce her passing at Riverview Gardens, Chatham on March 25, 2021 at the age of 100.
Beloved wife of the late Delmer Lawrence "Bud" Lefaive (1999).
Loving mother of Donna Jean (Gerry) Utley, Diane (Bob) Erickson and the late Arlene (Ray) Reaume.
Grandmother of Rick (Cheryl) Webster, Randy (Sandy) Webster, Todd (Lisa) Reaume, Jeff (Kim) Utley, Darrin (Jennifer) Utley, Jane Erickson, Susan Erickson and Erin Erickson.
Great-Grandma Marj to Brady Webster, Josh Reaume, Vanessa, Victoria, Avery, and Hannah Utley, Julia Pinsonneault, Jill Caryn, Emma Hooper, Luke Zruna, and Matthew Erickson.
Great-Great-Grandma Marj to Wyatt Bakker.
Dear sister to Marie (Bill) Glassford.
Predeceased by sisters-in-law Josephine, Etta, Angela, Kay and Doris.
Best friend to Molly Kennedy and her daughter Heather Kennedy, who was like Marjorie's fourth daughter.
Marjorie and Bud were the owners of B and M Variety on Churchill Drive in Chatham where they forged deep and lasting relationships. They were also the original owners of the Pop Shoppe in Chatham. She loved fishing and was an avid card player. She was a lifelong Blue Jays fan and loved to watch curling. Winters throughout retirement were spent in Boynton Beach, Florida. Marjorie was a loving, supportive mother and will be forever missed.
A private funeral service will take place on Monday, March 29, 2021 at 11am at McKinlay Funeral Home, Chatham with Deacon Jerry Lozon officiating. A recording of the service will be posted, following the service. Interment in Maple Leaf Cemetery, Chatham.
The family ask that any donations in memory of Marjorie be made to the Katelyn Bedard Bone Marrow Association, 3064 Fairlane Crescent, Windsor ON, N8W 4Y6.
