Obituary of John Chinn
A resident of Chatham, John Chinn passed peacefully away at Copper Terrace Nursing Home on Wednesday, August 19, 2020 at the age of 73.
Born on September 8, 1946, John was the son of the late Frank & Jessie (nee Patey) Chinn.
Dearest husband of Debby (nee Fife) Chinn and remembered always by his daughter, Sarah Caron (John), the late Trevor Stewart (2019) and April Stewart.
Papa of Makaylah & Julia.
Brother of Herman, Roy, Calvin, Frank, Elizabeth, Bonnie, Lloyd, Eileen, Bill.
John enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson motorcycles and driving his Corvettes. He worked for Siemens and Dana as a labourer. John lived a simple life, loved to spend time with his family and he will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
The family would like to extend their sincere appreciation to their extended family at Copper Terrace Nursing Home for their excellent care and always taking time to dance.
Family to receive friends on Friday, August 21, 2020 from 2:00 - 4:00 pm & 7:00 - 9:00 pm at McKinlay Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham.

No one will be permitted at the Visitation without a scheduled time. The Bereavement Authority of Ontario has mandated that everyone attending must wear a mask.
Cremation to follow.
Online condolences may be left for the family and donations may be made to the Parkinson's Society or to the Alzheimer's Society of Chatham through the Funeral Home website (www.mckinlayfuneralhome.com). Cheques may be mailed or delivered to any of our Funeral Home.
