Saturday, March 28, 2020Herman and Jean were respected neighbors in Lynnwood. We were often entertained by his creative recycling — lots of metal cutting sounds coming from his garage. He is missed. Much love to Jean.

Tuesday, March 24, 2020Jean I could tell that you took good care of Herman that Saturday when I did some welding at the old farm he was cleaning up. He gave me one of his sandwiches as we sat in his ford pickup for break-time.It was a cold windy day out there but a good memory. And also many years ago when i was about 10 years old he helped me sell my crazy pony at a farmer's auction by St Thomas. He had the pony in a red ford [I think]pickup with high plywood sides around the box and you could feel the truck sway when the pony moved around. Herman was a good man to spend time with. Good memories. My condolences from Gary and Joanne Nydam.

Sunday, March 22, 2020Dearest Singor Family, Please know that my Thoughts, Love, and Prayers are with you at this time. There are still Good Men left in this World, and Herman was the definition of that in my eyes. The times that I spent with him, and all of you showed me time and time again how much he was loved and cherished, and deservedly so. I know that he is with Our Lord, and I pray that God's Grace helps you all to find comfort. Love, Kris

Friday, March 20, 2020Jean and Family I am saddened to hear of Herman's passing, and send our condolences. He has always had a positive attitude with all the health challenges he has had to experience in the past few years . When we lose a loved one it is a very difficult time but for you this has even been a more challenging time with the Covid-19 when our friends and loved ones that we relay on foe comfort and support, are self isolating to help contain this virus. It has been a pleasure to have had the privilege to know and care for him in the past. He is now resting in the arms of our Lord. Keep his memories alive and keep sharing the many memories you have. Love never dies but lives on in our hearts forever.

Thursday, March 19, 2020Dear Mrs. Singor and family! Our sincere condolences to you all! I so enjoyed visiting with you both throughout the last 4 years. -Especially the singing together. I recall at the first visit, that Herman chose ‘Jesus, Lover of my Soul’. He sang with heart as the words resonated with him in this chapter of earthly life. One of the last songs he chose, was ‘Like a River Glorious’. How appropriate! - ‘Trusting in the Father, hearts are fully blessed. Finding as He promised, perfect peace and rest.’ May you have that comfort that Herman is at perfect peace and rest. Blessings, Roger and Deb Grootenboer
