Obituary of Frank Bokor

BOKOR: Frank – A resident of Fairfield Park in Wallaceburg, Frank Bokor passed away peacefully with family by his side on Wednesday, December 18, 2013 at the age of 89. Born in Slovakia, Frank was the son of the late Michael and Veronika Bokor. Dear brother to Cecilia Stewart (late Joe), Mike Bokor (Lillian), James Bokor (Gail), Frances Foster (late Charles) and Irene McCarron (Mike). Predeceased by his siblings Mary Istok (Karl), Rose Van Torre (Rene), Vera Bokor, John Bokor (Deanna), Annie Bokor and Emilia Bokor. Also missed by many nieces and nephews. Frank farmed all of his life in Fingal, before retiring to Blenheim. He enjoyed travelling and wintered in Hawaii for many years. He enjoyed ballroom dancing and was an avid bridge player. Family will receive friends at the Funeral Home on Friday, December 20, 2013 from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary’s Church, 95 Marlborough St. N., Blenheim at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 21, 2013 with Fr. Jacek Kokosa celebrant . Interment to follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Blenheim. Donations made in memory of Frank to the St Mary’s Church Building Fund would be appreciated.
