ST. AMAND, Bertin Olidor A resident of Chatham, Bert St. Amand, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 6, 2013 at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance. Born in St. André, New Brunswick on July 24, 1939, son of the late Charles & Marguerite St. Amand. Beloved husband to Gail St. Amand (nee Beaulieu) for 44 years. Loving father to Lori & Dominic Caron, Sean & Katelyn St. Amand, Jeff & Andrea St. Amand. Forever missed by his grandchildren Pierre & Jaclyne Caron, Ava, Matthew, Michael St. Amand, Kalan & Osten St. Amand. Brother to the late Chantal & Richard Labbe, the late Lionel St. Amand, the late Hope St. Amand, the late Renette St. Amand, the late Roger St. Amand, Mona Beaulieu and her husband the late Edmond, Solange Dube and her husband the late Vernon, Norman St. Amand, Mariette Ouellette and her husband the late Rudy, Rheal St. Amand, Gaetane Ruest and her husband the late Gabriel, Joe & Brenda St. Amand, Louise & Guildo Dionne, David & Diane St. Amand, and Susan St. Amand. Missed by many nieces and nephews. Bert was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church for over 40 years, he enjoyed fishing, woodworking, walking, and work outs at the gym. Bert’s entire world was his loveable wife and family. Family to receive friends at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham on Wednesday from 3:00-5:00 & 7:00-9:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, 180 Wellington Street West, Chatham on Thursday, October 10, 2013 at 12:30 p.m. with Fr. Matt Kucharski as celebrant. Cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or New Beginnings-ABI & Stroke Recovery Association would be appreciated by the family.
