Obituary of Arthur Burton 'Bill' Holden

HOLDEN: Arthur Burton “Bill” – A resident of Chatham and formerly of Ridgetown, Bill Holden passed away peacefully at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Chatham Campus with his family at his side on Thursday, September 5, 2013 at the age of 84. Born in Ridgetown, Bill was the son of the late Arthur and Lulu (Anderson) Holden. Predeceased by his two loving wives Marion Louise Thompson and Loraine Weaver. Loving father of Randelle Bedford (Ken) of Courtenay, B.C., Susan Bray (Gary) of Kitchener, Loucinda Holden of Sarnia and Scott Holden of Kitchener. Also missed by his extended family, Kathy West (Jerry) Ridgetown, Karen Weaver (Jim Labadie) of Lighthouse Cove and Kris Jantzi (Brad) of Kitchener. Sadly missed by his grandchildren, great-grandchildren and grand-dogs. Dear brother of Ruth Riley of Florida. Predeceased by his sisters Eleanor Pratt, Margaret Wilkinson, Freda McIntyre, Frannie Stephens and Phyllis Henderson. Also missed by many nieces, nephews, friends and extended family. Family will receive friends at the Funeral Home, 76 Main Street E., Ridgetown on Monday, September 9, 2013 from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. & 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. A Celebration of Bill’s life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 10, 2013.
