GRAVES: Kenneth Bert. Surrounded by his family after a lengthy illness, Ken Graves passed away at the Village On The Ridge on Thursday, August 22, 2013 at the age of 83. Born in Howard Township, son of the late Bert and Lillian (Frost) Graves. Beloved husband of Nora (Puttock) Graves and predeceased by his wife Margaret (Gotelaer) Graves (1985). Predeceased by his only son Gary (Gus) Graves (2009). Proud grandfather of David Graves of Chatham, and Kristy Graves of Highgate. Step-father of Lana (Ken) Koehler of Wheatley, Susan (Bill) Perkins of London, and David (Pauline) Turner of Courtright. Step-grandfather of Brandon Koehler of Tilbury, Bryce (Terri) Koehler of Wheatley, Amanda (Jeremy) Middleton of London, Bo Perkins of London, and Jessica and Diana Turner of Halifax. Great-grandfather of 9. Dear brother of Madeline Bateman of Stratford, Joyce Campbell of Ridgetown and her late husband Donald, June and Bill Jenkins of Morpeth, Ronald and Janet Graves of Troy, the late Fred Graves and his wife Ruth of Ridgetown, and the late Gladys (George) Shoemaker, Dorothy Graves, Audrey (Garnett)Smith, and George (Marie) Graves. Ken will also be missed by many nieces, nephews, and wonderful friends. Ken co-owned Troy Sporting Goods with his brother Ron. He also worked at Maple City Marine, prior to his retirement. Family will receive friends at Emmanuel Congregational Church, 92 Erie St. N., Ridgetown on Monday, August 26, 2013 from 10:00-11:00 a.m. Funeral Service will immediately follow at Emmanuel Congregational Church on Monday at 11:00 a.m. with Rev.
