Obituary of Nora Christie

CHRISTIE: Nora. A resident of Chatham, Nora Christie passed away at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Chatham on Sunday, July 14, 2013 at the age of 91. Cherished wife of the late John “Jack” Christie (2012) with whom she shared 71 years of marriage. Dear father of Robert Christie of Chatham, Andrew and Beth Christie of Oakville, and William and Sandy Christie of Burlington. Dear grandmother of Chad, Sarah, Drew, Luke, and Tessa. Sister of James Clayton of Mimico, and predeceased by her sisters Mary and Annie. Nora was a longtime member of T.O.P.S. Chatham. She was an avid artist and leaves behind many treasured oil paintings. She also enjoyed crochet, crossword puzzles, and was an active member of the Chatham-Kent Public Library.
