BELLINGER, Donald Leslie A resident of Chatham, Donald Leslie Bellinger, peacefully passed away surrounded by his family on Thursday, July 4, 2013 at Riverview Gardens Nursing Home. Born in Chatham on February 2, 1930, son of the late Russell & Bertha Bellinger. Cherished husband and soul mate to Doreen Bellinger (nee Dibbley) for 62 years. Loving father to Allan Bellinger, Donna & Chuck Whaling, Susan & Gene Gray, Anne & Mark Ottaway, Paul & Vickie Bellinger. Forever remembered by his 11 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Survived by his 4 sisters Mary Bellinger, Edith Cook (the late George), Marlene Phillips (the late Jim), Ruth Tuck (Robert). Predeceased by his sister Anna Payne (Chestle). Brother-in-law and best friend to Kathleen & William Pearson, Clayton & Jean Dibbley, June & Frank Boone, Diane & Murray Unruh. Donald leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews. Special thanks to Faye, Dr. Park Parry, and the 6th floor staff at Riverview Gardens Nursing Home for all the special care and compassion. Family to receive friends at the Funeral Home 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham on Sunday from 2:00-4:00 & 7:00-9:00 p.m., and Monday, July 8, 2013 at Emmanuel Baptist Church 100 McNaughton Ave West, Chatham from 10:00 a.m. until the Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Andrew Martin officiating. Interment to follow in Maple Leaf Cemetery.
