JAMES: Francis T. A resident of Wallaceburg, Francis James passed away suddenly at home on Sunday, June 30, 2013 at the age of 88. Born in Par, Cornwall, England, son of the late Frank and Edith (Hick) James. Beloved husband of Maryke (Antuma) James for 61 years. Loving father of Yvonne Noordam (Walter) of Sarnia, George James (Harlene) of Chatham, Allan James (Teresa) of Oxford, Michigan, Norma Jean Leegstra (Melvin) of Lynden, Kevin James of St. Thomas, and daughter-in-law Annette James of Shedden. Grandfather of 30 and great-grandfather of 13. Brother of Blanche James of Par, Cornwall, England and the late Margaret James. Francis retired as Fire Chief in Wallaceburg following 28 years of service. He was a member of the Ontario Association of Fire Chiefs Retirees. He was also a member of Living Hope Free Reformed Church, Chatham. Family will receive friends at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham on Wednesday from 3:00-5:00 p.m. and 7:00-9:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at Living Hope Free Reformed Church, 159 Gregory Drive East, Chatham on Thursday, July 4, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. Interment in Maple Leaf Cemetery, Chatham.
