Obituary of Helen Margaret Stewart

STEWART: Helen Margaret (nee Huffman) – A resident of Blenheim, and formerly of South Harwich Township, Helen Stewart passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 19, 2013 in her 94th year. Born in Harwich Township, Helen was the daughter of the late Roy and Mary (McDonald) Huffman. Beloved wife of 63 years to the late John Stewart (2007). Predeceased by her brother Jack Huffman (May 2013). Dearly missed by her sister-in-law Mildred Huffman. Much loved aunt of David (Laura) Huffman, Lisa (Chuck) Sykes, Mark (Alice) Stirling, Doug (Deb) Stewart, Fred (Kaye) Lee, Larry (Linda) Lee, Bob (Linda) Terry and Ginny Schedewitz. Predeceased by her niece Ethel Richardson. Also missed by many great-nieces, great-nephews and friends. She was a member at the Fourth Line United Church, the Randolph Churchill Chapter of the I.O.D.E., and a long-time member of the Blenheim Golf Club and the Blenheim Curling Club. Helen and John farmed for many years at Fourth Line and travelled a great deal in their later years. Many thanks for the kind care received at St. Andrew’s Residence and recently at the Blenheim Community Village. Family will receive friends at the Funeral Home, 141 Park Street, Blenheim, on Saturday, June 22, 2013 from 10:00 a.m. until the Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Ed Nicol officiating. Interment to follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Blenheim. Donations made in memory of Helen to the Fourth Line United Church or the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
