Obituary of Nadia 'Edith' Senyk

SENYK: Nadia (Edith). A long time resident of Duart, Nadia (Edith) Senyk died peacefully surrounded by her family at Four Counties Health Services on Tuesday May 28, 2013. Born in the Ukraine, 89 years ago, daughter of the late William & Sophia Stadnyk. Beloved wife of the late Stephen Senyk (1986). Loving mother of Robert Senyk (Debra) of Blenheim, Walter Senyk of Toronto, Ann Smith (Gary) of Rodney, Helen Fysh (Greg) of Duart, and Mike Senyk (Rita) of Kent Bridge. Cherished grandmother of 10 and great grandmother of 4. Predeceased by one great grandson. Dear sister of John Stadnyk (Anna) of Chicago, and the late Peter (Joyce), Richard, Natalia, and Anna. Nadia was all about family. She continually loved and cared for others and will always be remembered for her delicious Ukrainian cooking. Services for Mrs. Senyk will be held at McKinlay Funeral Home, 76 Main Street East, Ridgetown. Family will gather there for traditional Ukrainian Prayers on Friday at 5:30 p.m. Friends will be received during public visitation from 7:00-9:00 p.m. Friday evening. The Funeral Service will be conducted at the Funeral Home on Satuday June 1, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. with Fr. Vasil Fediv & Pastor Robert Karn officiating. Interment to follow at St. Michael's Cemetery, Howard Township. Donations in memory of Mrs. Senyk to the Holy Trinity Ukrainian Orthodox Church, London or to Four Counties Health Services Foundation would be appreciated.
