Obituary of Gayle Roberta Gillett

GILLETT, Gayle Roberta A resident of Chatham, Gayle Roberta Gillett, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 15, 2013 at Riverview Gardens Nursing Home at the age of 81. Born and raised in Morpeth, daughter of the late David & Goldie Coll (Parker). Predeceased by her loving husband Beverley Edward Gillett. Sadly missed by all of her girls Colleen Gillett (Dan) of Chatham, Megan Hrytzak (Robert) of Windsor, Kristen Meeks (John) of Chatham, Shelby Gillett-Rivait of Chatham, Heather Gillett (Renee) of Chatham, Sherry Eenink (Bill) of Chatham, Lynnda Feyen (Jake) of Norwich, and Sandra Moon (David) of Lighthouse Cove. Forever missed by her 13 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her brother Larry Coll. Gayle spent many years canvassing for the Heart & Stroke Foundation, she loved watching baseball, and was a fan of the Cleveland Indians. The family wishes to thank the staff at Riverview Gardens Nursing Home 6th Floor for all their care and compassion over the years. Family to receive friends at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham on Sunday from 2:00-4:00 & 7:00-9:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will take place at the Funeral Home on Monday, May 20, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Paul McPhail officiating. Cremation to follow. Donations in memory of Gayle Roberta Gillett to the Alzheimer's Society would be appreciated by the family.
