Obituary of Margaret Grin

GRIN: Margaret - Margaret Grin passed away peacefully early Friday morning, March 15, 2013 at the age of 86 and went to be with her Lord. Born in Broek op Langedijk, The Netherlands, Margaret was the daughter of the late Arie and Trijntje (Glas) Dekker. Precious wife of 64 years to William Grin. Loving mother of Harry (Joan), Jack (Olga), Elizabeth and Albert (Wilma). Grandma to 11 grandchildren and Great-Grandma to 10 great-grandchildren. Survived by her three sisters Marie (Chiel), Berta, Teny (Jim) and one brother Cor (Ank). Predeceased by three brothers and two sisters. Also missed by many nieces, nephews, friends and extended family. Margaret immigrated with William to Canada in 1949. She was a member of Grace Christian Reformed Church and a member of the Chatham Goodfellows for 30 years. Family will receive friends at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street Chatham on Sunday from 2:00 – 5:00 p.m. A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, March 18, 2013 at Grace Christian Reformed Church, 255 Tweedsmuir Ave W., Chatham with Rev. William Koopmans officiating. Private interment to be held at Maple Leaf Cemetery. If desired, donations may be made in memory of Margaret to Chatham Goodfellows or Christian Reformed World Missions.
