QUIGLEY, Phyllis; A resident of Chatham, Phyllis Quigley (nee Arthur), passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance on Wednesday, March 13, 2013. Born in Ynysddu, South Wales 85 years ago. She immigrated to Canada in 1948, and travelled with her late husband Ken Quigley (1993) as a military family from coast to coast in Canada, Europe, and the United States. Loving mother to Steven & Bertha Quigley of Kanata, Barbara & Ken Lamond of Chatham, Brenda & John Mace of Jefferson City, U.S.A. Grandmother to Devin Quigley, Stephanie & Darren Kints, David Lamond, Brianna & John Saya, Savannah & Blake Melton, Molly Mace, Margret Mace. “GG” will be forever missed by her great-grandchildren Dylan, Mercedes, Jackson, Austin, Bella, Damien, Colten, and Troy. Predeceased by her brother William Arthur (1994). Phyllis was a Past Worthy Matron & District Deputy of the Blue Bell Chapter OES, Chatham, and a Past Worthy Matron of Fidelas Chapter OES, North Bay. Family to receive friends at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham on Sunday from 1:00-4:00 p.m. An Eastern Star Memorial Service will be held at 4:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will take place at the Funeral Home on Monday, March 18, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. with The Ven. Paul Millward officiating. Interment to follow in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, London.
