Obituary of Jane Coatsworth

COATSWORTH: Jane Elizabeth. A resident of R.R.#2 Blenheim, Jane Coatsworth passed away at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Chatham on Monday, February 18, 2013 at the age of 76. Born in Detroit, Michigan, daughter of the late Robert and Lillian (Cumming) Belbin. Beloved wife of Tom Coatsworth Sr. for 56 years. Dear mother of Tom Coatsworth Jr. of Blenheim, Bob Coatsworth and his wife Marianne of R.R.#4 Blenheim, and Cathy Coatsworth Finch and her husband Mark of R.R.#2 Blenheim. Grandmother of Jordan Coatsworth, Laurel Coatsworth, Marlee Finch, and Laura Finch. Sister of the late Robert Belbin. Sister-in-law of Pat Thompson and her husband Wes of Blenheim, and the late Marjorie and Jack Nicholls, and Betty and John DeBoer. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Jane met Tom in Rondeau Park in 1956 and they married shortly thereafter. She worked alongside Tom on the family farm for her entire life. She was a member of Blenheim United Church and Unit 5 of the U.C.W. Jane volunteered with Meals on Wheels and the Harwich-Raleigh Breakfast Program for many years. A Memorial Service to celebrate Jane's Life will be held at Blenheim United Church, 49 George St., Blenheim on Thursday, February 21, 2013 at 1:30 p.m. with Rev. Curtis Marwood and Rev. Bill Terris officiating. Interment to follow in Evergreen Cemetery. A reception will follow at Blenheim United Church.
