Labute: Norma Jean. A resident of Chatham, Norma Labute died peacefully, surrounded by her family, on Tuesday December 18, 2012 at Meadowpark Nursing Home, Chatham. Born in Chatham, 81 years ago, daughter of the late Alexander & Victoria (Rose) Deneau. Beloved wife of the late James J. Labute (2009). Loving mother of Janice & Jim Sales, Merlin; Dale & Debbie Labute, Morpeth; Brenda & Bert Van Middelkoop, Pardoville; Mary-Jo & Larry Herre, Rensselaer, IN; Peter Labute & Wanda, Dover Township; Patricia Gillett & Marc, Tecumseh; Barbara & Manuel Da Costa, Puce; Anne & Joel Pinsonneault, Chatham; Carol & Pat Roy, Woodstock; John & Sally Labute, Sarnia; and predeceased her infant daughter Linda Labute. Cherished grandmother of 21 and great grandmother of 13. Dear sister of Nelson & Betty Deneau, Cedar Springs; Leonard & Madeline Deneau, Chatham; Delmer & Janet Deneau, Chatham; Maxine & Larry Throsel, Cedar Springs; Diane & Ted Marentette, Shrewsbury; and the late Alexander Deneau, Roxy Bondy, Josephine Moore, Dorothy Rabideau, Gwen Foster, and Marjorie Wolfendon. Fondly remembered by her sister-in-law Geraldine Deneau of Chatham, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham on Friday 2:00-4:00 & 7:00-9:00 p.m. Parish Prayers & CWL Prayers will be offered at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Ursula’s Roman Catholic Church on Saturday December 22, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. Interment St. Anthony Cemetery, Chatham.
