Obituary of R. Stanley Pepper

PEPPER, Robert Stanley; A resident of Chatham, Stan Pepper, passed away suddenly at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance on Sunday, December 9, 2012 at the age of 80. Born in Merlin, son of the late Henry & Leora Pepper. Beloved husband to Elizabeth Pepper for 55 years. Cherished father to Brian & Kim Pepper of Emeryville, and Karen & Lorenzo Bosazzi of Chatham. Loving grandfather to Jena, Kayla, and Taylor Pepper, Loren and Jessica Bosazzi. Predeceased by daughter Susan, sister Ruby & William Bially, and his brother Harry & Margaret Pepper. Stan lived in Chatham-Kent all his life, he was a long time member of St. Paul’s Anglican Church where he was on the Board of Directors and a past warden. He worked for Ontario Hydro for 15 years before becoming owner and operator of Stan Pepper Insurance Agency Ltd. (State Farm Insurance). Family to receive friends at the Funeral Home 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham on Wednesday from 2:00-4:00 & 7:00-9:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will take place at the Funeral Home on Thursday, December 13, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Kristen Oliver officiating. Interment to follow in Merlin Cemetery. Donations in memory of Stan Pepper to the Canadian Cancer Society, the Heart & Stroke Foundation, or St. Paul’s Anglican Church would be appreciated by the family.
