Obituary of Joyce D. Smith

SMITH: Joyce D. A resident of Chatham, Joyce Smith died peacefully at Chatham-Kent Health Alliance on Friday November 9, 2012. She was born in England 85 years ago, daughter of the late William & Florence Lamb. Beloved wife of 61 years to Ronald Smith, and loving mother of Gina Smith, both of Chatham. Dear sister of Jean Prince (Edward) in England, and the late Joseph Lamb and Phyllis Lamb. Fondly remembered by her brother-in-law Percy Smith (Margaret) of St. Marys, as well as several nieces and nephews. Joyce retired from the office of St. Clair College in 1992. Friends will be received at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham on Friday November 16, 2012 from 12:30-1:30 p.m. A Memorial Service will follow at 1:30 p.m. Interment Maple Leaf Cemetery, Chatham.
