Obituary of Willard Brown

BROWN: Willard. A resident of Mitchell’s Bay, Willard Brown passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 21, 2012 at the age of 84. Willard was an active member of the Lambeth A.N.A.F # 345. He loved his friends and enjoyed his time with the Lucky 7 gang. He was a very talented carpenter and tradesman in his day. But in his later years enjoyed the relaxing sunsets at the Bay while sipping his vodka and smoking his King Eddy’s. Lovingly remembered by children Michelle, Jason and Samantha, sisters Judy (Joe) Dale, Janet Eden, and brother Lawrence (Betty Lou) Brown. Beloved uncle to Kortney, John and Jordan Sharpe, and brother-in-law and best friend to Rob Sharpe and wife Annetta. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and grandchildren. Willard was predeceased by his parents Violet and Gordon Brown, brothers George, James, Harvey, Gordon, and sisters Sue, Lila, and Velma. Willard will be sadly missed by all his friends in Mitchell’s Bay and Lambeth. Special thanks to Dr. Mayo, Dr. Pepper, Dr. Haddad, Mary Beth Cadotte (“Supreme Allied Commander” VHA) and all the special caregivers at Bayshore and the Oncology department at CKHA. Also, a very special thank you to Deb Austin for all you did for Willy. At Willard’s request there will be no funeral service. A celebration of his life will be held at the A.N.A.F at a later date.
