TEEUWEN, Louis; A resident of Chatham, Louis Teeuwen, passed away at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance on Sunday, October 21, 2012 in his 75th year. Born in Holland, son of the late Gerard & Elisabeth (Vaessen) Teeuwen. Beloved husband of Jean Teeuwen (Morlog). Loving father to Margaret Teeuwen (Mike), Donna Rylett (Rick), Bob Teeuwen (Lena), Theresa Devolder (Dan), Jim Teeuwen, Christine McKenney (Marty). Grandfather to Bradley Rylett, Matthew Rylett, Ricky Teeuwen, Natalie Devolder, Vanessa Devolder, and great-grandfather to Addison Duckworth. Survived by his two sisters Trudy Geensen, Elisabeth Seaton both of Tillsonburg, and brothers Bill Teeuwen of London, Chris Teeuwen of Calgary, and Mike Teeuwen of Chatham. Forever missed by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his brother John Teeuwen. Leaves behind a special uncle John Vaessen of London, and dear friend to Nick Beers of Chatham. Louis retired from Navistar in 1994 after 31 years. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus St. Joseph's Council 10436. Family to receive friends at the Funeral Home 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham on Wednesday, October 24, 2012 from 2:00-4:00 & 7:00-9:00 p.m. Parish Prayers at 3:00 p.m. and Knights of Columbus Service at 7:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will take place at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 145 Victoria Ave, Chatham on Thursday, October 25, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. with Fr. Daniel Bombardier officiating. Interment to follow at St. Anthony Cemetery, Chatham.
