HAWKER: Pearl H. A resident of Mount Hope in London, and formerly of Chatham, Pearl Hawker died peacefully on Friday September 14, 2012 at the age of 97. Daughter of the late John & Barbara (Russwurm) Ries, and beloved wife of the late Robert G. Hawker (1994). Loving mother of Anita Lock (Rich Zaroda) of London, and Karen Benson (Brian) of Erieau. Cherished grandmother of Greg Benson (Michelle Lawrence) and Melanie (Wes) Watson, all of London, and great grandmother of Lauren & Rachel Watson. Dear sister of Orville Ries of Toronto, and the late Myrtle Karlson and Harvey Ries. Pearl worked for many years at Victoria Residence, and was a long time member of Christ Anglican Church before moving to London. Family will receive friends at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham on Sunday 2:00-4:00 & 7:00-9:00 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held on Monday September 17, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at Christ Anglican Church, 80 Wellington Street West, Chatham with Ven. Paul Millward officiating. Interment to follow at Maple Leaf Cemetery.
