BROUND: Dolores Joy "Dee". A resident of Chatham, Dolores (Dee) Bround passed away at Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Chatham on Wednesday, August 22, 2012 at the age of 77. Born in Chatham, daughter of the late George and Margaret (Pels) Hebblethwaite. Beloved wife of Keith Bround. Dear mother of Kim Smyth and his wife Mary of Chatham, Jill Dumart and her husband Peter of Kitchener-Waterloo, and Lynn Barnier and her husband Dan of Callendar Bay. Step-mother of Brad Bround of London, Susan Towsley and her husband Bruce of Chatham, and Lori Violot and her husband Todd of Chatham. Lovingly missed by her grandchildren Ashley Srokosz (Ben), Matt Smyth, Erin Varga (Adam), Jaclyn Varga, Andrew MacEwan, Scott Violot, and Graham Violot. Sister of the late Norma Jean Satchell and her husband Lloyd of Wallaceburg. Aunt of Lynda Savage and her husband John, and Janet Satchell. Mrs. Bround was a revered secondary school Women’s Basketball Referee for over 20 years. She was a former President of Maple City Golf Course, past member of the Sweet Adelines, and the Chatham Granite Club. A Celebration of Life will be held at Maple City Country Club, 10845 River Line, Chatham on Saturday, August 25, 2012 from 1:00-4:00 p.m. Dee has requested that bright colours be worn for her Celebration of Life. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, Heart & Stroke Foundation, or Maple City Golf Course Junior Program would be appreciated.
