CARROLL: William (Bill), A resident of Chatham, Bill Carroll passed away on August 17, 2012 at his residence at the age of 74. Born in Dunwich Township, Bill is the son of the late Ernest Malcolm and Nellie (Campbell) Carroll. Beloved husband of Lila (Shoemaker) Carroll. Dear father of Robert and Stacey Carroll of Webster, N.Y and Wayne and Carrie Carroll of Chatham. Dear grandfather of Mackenzie and Sloane Carroll and Andrew and Erin Carroll. Dear brother of Catherine Bogart of St. Thomas. Fondly remembered by nieces and nephews. Bill was a member of the St. James Presbyterian Church and the Sertoma Club. He enjoyed tractor pulling and tinkering with his tractors. Family to receive friends at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham on Tuesday, August 21, 2012 from 12:00 p.m. until the Memorial Service at 2:00 p.m. Interment Fairview Cemetery, Dutton at a later date.
