Allen, Thirza Gladys, a resident of Chatham. Thirza Allen died peacefully Friday July 6, 2012 at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Chatham Campus at the age of 75. Born in Windsor, Ontario, daughter of the late Herbert & Nancy (Allen) Dix. Beloved wife of George E. Allen. Dear mother of Craig & Kim Allen, Ilderton; & Glynis & Jay Glasier, Chatham. Missed by grandchildren, Chandler, Carter & MacGregor Allen; and Hayden & Dharma Glasier. Sister of Carol Fedikow, Windsor. Aunt of Lisa Power, Windsor. Thirza was a former employee of Union Gas for 42 years. Friends will be received at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair St., Chatham on Sunday July 8, 2012 from 2:00-4:00 & 7:00-9:00 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held at Holy Trinity Anglican Church, 81 Selkirk St., Chatham at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Alan Knight officiating. Cremation to follow with Interment in Windsor at a later date.
