Obituary of Marjorie 'Josephine' Ford

FORD: Marjorie Josephine (Carnegie) - A resident of Chatham Retirement Resort, Josephine Ford died peacefully at Sydenham District Campus on June 20th, 2012. Born on September 18, 1926, daughter of the late William Turner and Kathryn Murphy. Beloved wife of the late Calvin Ford (2002). Loving mother to Jim and Judy Carnegie of Chatham, William Carnegie and friend Rose Simpson of Blenheim and Douglas and Darlene Carnegie of Leamington. Grandmother to Janet, Jamie, Andrea, William Jr., Carl, Douglas Jr, and Bonnie. Fourteen Great Grandchildren. Predeceased by a brother, John Turner (2007). Josephine enjoyed many years working as a seamstress at the South West Regional Centre until her retirement. Interment at the Gosnell Cemetery, Highgate on Monday, June 25, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. with Donna Green officiating. A Celebration of Josephine’s life will follow the interment at the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 628, 39 William St N., Chatham. Donations in memory of Josephine would be appreciated to the Brain Injury Association or the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada.
