CHARRON: Lawrence. A resident of Chatham, Lawrence Charron died peacefully surrounded by his family, on Friday April 27, 2012 at Riverview Gardens at the age of 78. Beloved husband of Maxine (Osborne) Charron. Loving father of Bill & Sandra Charron, Chatham; Murray & Yvette Charron, Chatham; Nancy & John Sennema, London; Patsy & Kevin Sowers, Chatham; Tim & Chris Charron, Chatham; and the late Greg Charron (2008). Father-in-law of Barb Charron, Chatham. Cherished grandfather of David & Elissa Charron, Krysten & Brady Birkin, Tyler, Jenna, Adam, and Katie Charron, Justin and Jordan Sennema, Kaylee and Brett Sowers, and Rebecca and Emma Charron. Great Grandfather of Hudson Charron and Kinsley Birkin. Dear brother of Leona Brown, Ridgetown; Doris Hall, Chatham; Kate & Oscar Gagnier, Wallaceburg; Norma & Bob Cartier, Dover Township; and the late Adlore (2002) and Norman (2011). Brother-in-law of Marlene Charron and Rose Charron, both of Chatham. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Lovingly remembered by his dear friend Gert McFadden of Chatham. Lawrence was born and raised in Ridgetown. He moved to Chatham in 1953, where he worked in the family business and was a partner in the development of Charron Transport & Warehousing. Family will receive friends at the Funeral Home, 459 St Clair Street, Chatham on Friday May 4, 2012 from 3:00-5:00 & 7:00-9:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday May 5, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. from St. Paul’s Congregational Church, 450 Park Avenue West, Chatham. Interment to follow at Maple Leaf Cemetery. Memorial Donations to the Huntingtons Society in honour of Maxine, or the Canadian Cancer Society in honour of the Relay for Life Team “Passion for Pink” would be appreciated.
