Obituary of Shirley June Tribe

TRIBE: Shirley June – A resident of Ridgetown, Shirley Tribe passed away suddenly at her residence on Wednesday, April 11, 2012 at the age of 77. Born in London, Shirley was the daughter of the late Charles and Emma (Hibben) McLean. Beloved wife of George A. Tribe. Loving mother of Janice Campbell (Edward) of R.R. # 2 Kent Bridge and Alan Tribe (Mary Janet) of Oakville. Proud grandmother of Matthew, Brian, Amy and David Tribe and Jeff, Justin and Brittany Campbell. Predeceased by her granddaughter Kimberly Campbell (1988). Dear sister to Myra Harter of London and William ‘Bill’ McLean of Mississauga. Predeceased by her sisters Peggy Jardine, Isabell FitzPatrick, Mary Rigney, Florence Donnelly and Bertha Little and her brother Charles ‘Chuck’ McLean. Shirley was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch #243, Ridgetown. She enjoyed crosswords, Sudoku and her yearly excursions to Brownsville, Texas in her motor home. Family will receive friends at the Funeral Home, 76 Main Street, Ridgetown, on Friday from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at the Funeral Home at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 14, 2012 with Rev. Al McIntyre officiating. Cremation to follow with a private interment at Greenwood Cemetery in Ridgetown to be held at a later date. Donations made in memory of Shirley to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch #243, Ridgetown would be appreciated by the family.
