Obituary of Elsie Florence Chamberlain

CHAMBERLAIN, Elsie Florence of Chatham, passed away peacefully at CKHA, on Thursday, April 5, 2012. Elsie, age 78, beloved wife of Eric Chamberlain for 60 years. Elsie was born on Oct 9, 1933 in Rugby, Warwickshire, England. She was the daughter of Alfred and Elsie Beech. Loving mother of Mark (Lee Ann) Chamberlain of Lighthouse Cove, and David (Deborah) Chamberlain of Courtice. Predeceased by baby daughter Linda Jane Chamberlain, 1956. Dearest Nana of Gareth and Rhiannon Chamberlain, and Katie, David, and Christopher Cachia. Dear sister of Maude Dable of Windsor and Sarah Waplington, Dorothy Parriss, and brother John Beech, all of Rugby, Warwickshire, England. She will also be missed by her many nieces and nephews in England and Canada and by her best friend Eileen Thomson of Chatham. Predeceased by her sisters Ada Jackson and Margaret Kelly of England. Family to receive friends at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham on Monday, April 9, 2012 from 9:00 – 11:00 a.m. where the Funeral Service will take place at 11a.m. with Pastor Eric Skillings officiating.
