STACEY: Anne Theresa. A resident of Chatham, Anne Stacey passed away at Riverview Gardens, Chatham on Monday, April 2, 2012 at the age of 87. Born in Czechoslovakia, daughter of the late Peter and Mary (Hubacek) Svehla. Dear mother of Betty Weber of R.R.#3 Blenheim, and the late Brian Stacey (1975), and Brenda Peters (1999). Grandmother of Shannon O'Phee of Chatham, and Bryan Weber of Chatham. Great-grandmother of Asia Aoki, Madison Aoki, Sachinari Aoki, Rya Lynn Weber, and Reese Weber. Sister of Jean and Joe Uher of Blenheim, Helen Maklovich of Wallaceburg, and the late Rose Allan, Peter Svehla, Joseph Svehla, Josie Bunda, Mary Schindler, and Lillian Pearson. Mrs. Stacey was a longtime member of St. Ursula's Catholic Church and had been an avid walker and gardener. Family will receive friends at the McKinlay Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham on Tuesday from 3:00-5:00 p.m. and 7:00-9:00 p.m. Parish Prayers at the Funeral Home at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Ursula's Catholic Church, 205 Tweedsmuir Ave. W., Chatham on Wednesday, April 4, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. with Fr. Matt Kucharski the celebrant. Interment in St. Anthony Cemetery, Chatham. Donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Alzheimer's Society of Chatham-Kent would be appreciated.
