Obituary of Mary Sue Couture

COUTURE: Mary Sue “Susie” – A resident of R.R. # 1 Grande Pointe, Susie Couture passed away at home, surrounded by her family on Friday, March 30, 2012 at the age of 63. Born in Chatham, Susie was the daughter of the late Hilliard and Mary Ellen (Sullivan) Jubenville. Beloved wife of 43 years to Garry Couture. Loving mother of Michael Couture (Becky) of Chatham, Jodi Dennison (Glen) of Windsor and Mark Couture of Windsor and his special friend Kerry, and her children Bella and Isaac of Chatham. Proud grandmother of Jessica (Ryan), Hope (Kory) and Nathan Couture and Tyler and Taylor Dennison. Dear sister to Richard Jubenville (Phyllis), Luanne Myers (Nips) and sister-in-law to Anna Jubenville, all of Dover. Predeceased by her brother Bob Jubenville (2000) and her infant sister Judy (1953). Also missed by many nieces, nephews, friends and extended family. Susie was a member of the Ladies of St. Anne’s at Immaculée Conception & St. Philippe Parish. Family will receive friends at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham on Monday from 3:00 – 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. Parish Prayers will be held at the Funeral Home at 3:00 p.m. A Mass of the Christian Burial will be held at the Immaculée Conception and St. Philippe Parish, Pain Court, on Tuesday, April 3, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. with Fr. Robert Champagne and Fr. Michael Michon officiating. Interment to follow at St. Philippe Cemetery, Grande Pointe.
