MacDONALD: Ross John. A resident of R.R.#3 Thamesville, Ross MacDonald passed away at the Village-on-the-Ridge on Wednesday, March 21, 2012 at the age of 85. Born in Orford Township, son of the late David and Catherine (McArthur) MacDonald. Beloved husband of the late Donna H. (Long) MacDonald (2004). Dear father of Catherine Sauvé and her husband Norm of Blenheim, and Tom MacDonald and his wife Susan of R.R. #3 Bothwell. Grandfather of Mike Sauvé (Connie), Stephen Sauvé (Kelly), Kim McMillan (Justin), and Jeff MacDonald (Meagan). Great-grandfather of Ethan, Keira, and Lacey Sauvé, Katelyn Sauvé, and Colton McMillan. Brother of Margaret Clark of Pickering, Allan MacDonald of Dutton, and the late Archie MacDonald and Jean Watson. Brother-in-law of Bob Long (Jean) of Ridgetown, Isabel Countryman of Chatham, and Kay Willer of Bothwell. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. A Family Service will be held in Greenwood Cemetery, Ridgetown with Rev. Alan McIntyre officiating.
