Obituary of Frederick William 'Fred' Reinhardt

REINHARDT: Frederick William “Fred” - A resident of Highgate, Fred Reinhardt passed away at The Village on the Ridge on Sunday, March 11, 2012 at the age of 89. Born in Ailsa Craig, Fred was the son of the late John and Lottie (Parsons) Reinhardt. Beloved husband of the late Beatrice “Bea” Reinhardt (2008). Dear father of Judy Clark and her husband Morley of R.R.#2 Highgate, Barbara Reinhardt of Devon, Alberta, and John Reinhardt of London. Grandfather of Steven and Brenda Clark, Gregory and Tracy Clark, Sara Norris, Lisa Norris, Derrick Reinhardt, and predeceased by Walter Clark and Melissa Reinhardt. Great-grandfather of Matthew, Andrew, Emily, and Riley Clark. Predeceased by his brother Maxwell, his sisters Jean Chauvin and Hazel Archer and his infant sister Daisy. Frederick was the former owner and operator of Reinhardt Farm Equipment. He was active with the Fair Board, was a 4H Leader and was an active member of Highgate United Church as well as the Masonic Lodge, including M.O.C.H.A. Shrine. Fred was a veteran, with the Infantry in World War II. He was also a member of the Highgate Legion. Family will receive friends at the Funeral Home, 76 Main Street, Ridgetown on Wednesday from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. and on Thursday, March 15, 2012 from 12:30 p.m. until the Funeral Service at 1:30 p.m. with Rev. H.S. Summers officiating. Interment to follow at Gosnell Cemetery.
