Obituary of Jean Littlejohn Inglis

INGLIS: Jean Littlejohn. A long time resident of Chatham, Jean Inglis died peacefully at Vision Nursing Home, Sarnia on Tuesday February 14, 2012 after a brief illness. She was born 86 years ago on March 17, 1925, daughter of the late Johnathan & Marion (Hay) Walker. Beloved wife of the late George Inglis.(2002) Dearly loved mother of Stephen Inglis and his wife Dorothy of Courtright, and Douglas Inglis and his partner Sheri of Brookside, Nova Scotia. Sadly missed by her grandchildren Kerry, Malcolm, Rebecca, Kevin (Candace), and Kyle. Special great grandmother of Ethan. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Jean was predeceased by her brother Ian Walker of St. Thomas in 2009, and her twin brother James Walker many years ago. She retired from Daymond Ltd. in Chatham where she had worked in the payroll department. She was also a past member of the Moose Lodge in Chatham, and the Royal Canadian Legion-Branch 628. Her family is grateful to her long time neighbours and friends Len & Sharon Krukowski, Marcel & Linda Benn, Rita Cadotte, and Wilkie & Margie Wilson, for their friendship and support over the years. Cremation has taken place. Family and friends will gather at Maple Leaf Cemetery, Chatham for an interment service at a later date. Donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation appreciated.
