HAWCO: Ronald “Newf” – A resident of Ridgetown, Ron Hawco passed away at his residence on Wednesday, January 11, 2012 at the age of 64. Born in Brigus, Newfoundland on January 31, 1947, Ron was the son of the late Paul and Catherine (Cousens) Hawco. Beloved husband of Betty Tebo. Former husband of Susan White. Loving father of Amie Hawco (Justin Hayes) of Chatham and Paul Hawco (Kylie McLean) of Glencoe. Proud grandfather of Carlie, Brandon, Lily, Paul, Jr., Morgan and William. Ron is survived by his sisters and brothers, Jenny Quilty (late husband Clarence) of Cambridge, Isabel Sparks (late husband Randy Sr) of Cambridge, Nick Hawco of Brigus, NFLD and Francis Hawco (Mabel) of Chatham. Also missed by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his sisters Margaret Loveless and Annie Hawco and his brother Peter Hawco. Ron was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Highgate Branch 335 for over 20 years. He worked as a carpenter for most of his life. Family will receive friends at the Funeral Home, 76 Main Street E., Ridgetown on Sunday from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at the Funeral Home at 1:30 p.m. on Monday, January 16, 2012 with Rev.
