Everitt, Edith (Bettie), a resident of Chatham. Edith (Bettie) Everitt passed away quietly at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance on Friday November 11, 2011 in her 91st year. Born in Chatham, daughter of the late Walter & Norah (Bibby) Grand. Beloved wife of the late Norman (Porky) Everitt (1990). Dear mother of Reg (Ronna) Everitt and Diane Everitt. Predeceased by a daughter Judith Ann Payne and son-in-law Ernie Payne. Sister of Jean MacFarlane and Noreen Sypulski. Grandmother of James (Tricia) Payne; Barbara (Brian) Trinacty; Doug Everitt; Scott (Judy) Everitt; Steven (Catherine) Everitt; Glen Everitt; Gary (Melissa) Everitt; Garth (Rosemary) Everitt; Angela (Julian) Moule; Kelli Everitt; Elizabeth (Scott) Thain and Joanna (Jacob) Renaud. Also survived by several great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the McKinlay Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair St., Chatham on Tuesday November 15, 2011 from 2:00-4:00 & 7:00-9:00 p.m. A Private Family Service will be conducted at the Funeral Home.
