Obituary of A. Lorraine Labadie

LABADIE: A. Lorraine – A resident of Chatham, Lorraine Labadie passed away at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Chatham Campus on Sunday, October 23, 2011 at the age of 90. Born in Wallaceburg, Lorraine was the daughter of the late Albert and Bertha (Raymond) Turner. Beloved wife of the late Edrick Anthony ‘Ed’ Labadie (1992). Loving mother of Gail Lindsay (Bud Cino) of London, Maureen Labadie of Chatham and Edward Labadie (Brenda) of London. Proud grandmother of 6 grandchildren and great-grandmother of 9 great-grandchildren. Lorraine is the last surviving member of her family. She is predeceased by her grandson Bradley Labadie as well as her three sisters and two brothers. Lorraine was raised and attended school near the Campbell farm in Guilds. She had worked for seven years at the Public General Hospital in the dietary department. A Private Family Service was held for Lorraine at Evergreen Cemetery in Blenheim.
