FRASER: James Wilbert. A resident of Chatham, James W. Fraser passed away at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Chatham on Monday, October 24, 2011 at the age of 83. Born in Ridgetown, beloved husband of the late Jeanne (Charron) Fraser (2006). Dear father of Jim Fraser and his wife Cathy of Kanata, David Fraser and his wife Melissa of Thamesville, Bill Fraser of Chatham, Jane Thoroughgood of Hamilton, and Linda VanDamme (Ron) of B.C. Grandfather of Shelley, Jennifer, Jessica, Christopher, Elizabeth, Hannah, Derryk, Cameron, Ryan, Aaron, Greg, Alexandra, and William. Great-grandfather of Danny, Madison, Brandon, and Owen. Brother of Edna Morrell of New Brunswick, and predeceased by Thomas, Ernie, Alvin, William, Phyllis, Clarence, Roy, and Doug. James will also be dearly missed by Caroll McKenzie. James was a Veteran of WWII, and served with the Canadian Infantry. He volunteered for many years by playing his accordian at area senior's residences. A Graveside Funeral Service will be held at Greenwood Cemetery, Ridgetown on Saturday, October 29, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Alan McIntyre officiating.
