Obituary of Silva Graziella Perini

PERINI (MORGAN): Silva Graziella. Surrounded by her family, it is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Silva Perini at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Sydenham Campus, Wallaceburg on Sunday, October 23, 2011, at the age of 65. Born in Castelvenere, Istria, Italy, daughter of the late Antonio and Giuseppina Morgan. Beloved wife of Antonio Perini, loving mother to Cristina (Cristiano) Perini-Suffi, Daniel (Amanda) Perini, and Luisa Perini. Cherished and loving Nonna to Cristian and Cristelle Suffi, and Abigail and Claire Perini. Dear sister to Laura (Michael) Glover of Chatham, and Oliva (Franco) Ruzzier of Caledon. Sadly missed by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by an infant brother Ezio. Silva was a retired teacher with both Boards of Education and was a member of the Retired Teachers of Ontario. She was an active member at St. Agnes Parish and a member of the C.W.L. for 38 years. She was also a member of the Lega Istriana of Chatham. Silva will be fondly remembered as a faith-filled educator who touched many lives, most of all her family. Friends and relatives will be received at the McKinlay Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham on Wednesday from 2:00-5:00 p.m. and 7:00-9:00 p.m. where Parish Prayers will be offered at 8:30 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Agnes Catholic Church, 52 Croydon St., Chatham on Thursday, October 27, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. followed by interment in St. Anthony Cemetery, Chatham.
