BUTLER: Marion Joyce (nee Paling) - A resident of Hamilton, and formerly of Blenheim, Marion Butler passed away on Tuesday, September 20, 2011 at St. Peter’s Hospital in Hamilton at the age of 79. Born in Dealtown, daughter of the late Harry and Dorothy (Stimpson) Paling. Beloved wife of the late Leslie George Butler (2010). Dear mother of Murray and Liz Butler of Ridgetown, Kenny Butler of Barrie (and Janet from Ridgetown), Judy and Terry Homma of Kanata, Terry and Linda Butler of Blenheim, Shirley and Tony DeVito of Blenheim, Rhonda and Jamie Whitley of Hamilton and the late Leslie Butler (1992) and Randy Butler (1991). Grandmother of Roderick and Diane Butler, Stephanie and Jeff Burtch, Carrie and Lucky Holmes, Ryan Butler, Brad Butler, Aaron Homma, Atleigh Homma, Felicia Windibank, Johnny and Kayla Butler, Sophia and Rod Beer, Christopher DeVito, Brittany Whitley, and Olivia Whitley and 10 great grandchildren. Predeceased by grandson Scott (1992) and daughter-in-law Leslie Anne Butler (1995). Dear sister of George Paling of Blenheim. Predeceased by her brother Charlie Paling and her sister Anne Payne. A Private Family Service will be held at the Funeral Home with Rev. Bill Terris officiating. Interment to follow at Evergreen Cemetery.
