BOERSEMA: Margaret. A resident of Chatham, Margaret Boersema was taken from us by the Lord in his wisdom on Saturday September 10, 2011 at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance. Born in Gryspkerk, The Netherlands 82 years ago, daughter of the late Mike & Cathrina (Zwier) Postma, she emigrated to Canada in 1953. Loving wife of the late Eppe Boersema (September 2, 2011). Beloved mother of Tina & Elco Medenblik of Chatham, Bertha & John Kraayenbrink of Port Lambton, Harry & Mary Jane Boersema of Brantford, and Mike & Debbie Boersema of Aylmer. Loving grandmother of 12 and great grandmother of 17. Predeceased by her granddaughter Natasha and her brother Ralph Postma. Dear sister of John & Trudy Postma of Chatham, George & Sadie Postma of Chatham, Hank & Joan Postma of Sarnia, Susie & Joe Cabral of Tilbury, and Dienie Postma of Tilsonburg. Visitation will be held at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham on Tuesday from 2:00-4:00 & 7:00-9:00 p.m. Family and friends are invited to gather on Wednesday September 14, 2011 at Grace Christian Reformed Church from 10:00 a.m. until the Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Wm. Koopmans officiating. Interment to follow at Maple Leaf Cemetery. Memorial donations to honour Margaret’s life can be made to the Arthritis Society or the Christian Reformed World Relief Committee and would be appreciated by the family.
