Obituary of Norma 'Jean' Kenny

Kenny, Norma "Jean". A resident of Blenheim, Jean Kenny passed away at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Chatham Campus on Thursday, August 4, 2011 at the age of 80. Born in Windsor, Jean was the daughter of the late John Henry and Florence May (Butler) Ford. Beloved wife of Herbert “Bert” Kenny. Jean is predeceased by her first husband Jack Rumble (1969) and her second husband Howard Huffman (1998). Loving mother of John and Deb Rumble of Merlin, Barb and Doug McTavish of Chatham and Debbie and Bob Wardle of Blenheim. Proud grandmother of Jeff Rumble (Michelle) of Chatham, Melissa McTavish-Dupcik (Frank) of Wallaceburg and Amanda Scott (Jason) of Charing Cross. Great-grandmother to Ryan Seller and Mitchell Rumble, Samantha and Cameron Dupcik and Morgan and Ashton Scott. Great-great grandmother to Kadense and Lane. Dear stepmother to Reenie Gunnerson, Michael Kinnear, Jon Kenny, David Kenny and Steven Kenny, all of Alberta. Also missed by several step-grandchildren. Jean is survived by her sister Lucille Sweeney of Windsor. Predeceased by her brothers Bill and Kenneth Ford. Jean will live on in the memories of her many nieces, nephews, friends and extended family. She worked as a sales clerk at both the Metropolitan Store and Crest and Stedman for many years. Family will receive friends at the Funeral Home, 141 Park Street, Blenheim on Friday from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at the Funeral Home on Saturday, August 6, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Bill Terris officiating. Interment to follow at Evergreen Cemetery. Donations made in memory of Jean to the C.N.I.B. or the Canadian Liver Foundation would be appreciated.
