Obituary of Ronald 'Ron' Haskell

HASKELL: Ronald “Ron” Kenneth – A life-long resident of Chatham-Kent, Ron Haskell passed away with his family by his side at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Chatham Campus on Wednesday, July 6, 2011 at the age of 71. Born in Chatham, Ron was the son of the late Arley and Mildred (Mason) Haskell. Beloved husband of Darlene Marie (Lewis) Haskell. Loving father of Bill Haskell and his wife Terry of Merlin, and the late Ron "Jake" Haskell (1997). Survived by his daughter-in-law Christine Haskell. Proud grandfather of Tyler, Quentin, and Reid. Dear brother to Ross "Tex" Haskell and his wife Linda of Cedar Springs, and the late Bob and Erville Haskell. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Ron was an employee of Ventra Manufacturing. An avid outdoorsman, Ron was a member of both the Kent-Clover Leaf Conservation Club and the Dresden Sportsmen’s Club. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held at the Funeral Home on Tuesday, July 12, 2011 at 1:30 p.m. with the Rev. Paul Millward officiating. Inurnment to follow at Maple Leaf Cemetery, Chatham.
