Obituary of Lloyd Francis Guyett

Guyett: Lloyd Francis, A resident of Chatham and formerly of Dealtown, Lloyd Guyett passed away at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Chatham Campus on Friday, June 10. 2011 at the age of 88. He was born in Raleigh Township and was the son of the late Francis and Dolores (nee Ronson) Guyett. Beloved husband of the late Eleanor (nee Gifford) Guyett (1996). Dear father to Frances and George Jacques of Chatham, Marlene Fields and her late husband Ken (2003) of Dealtown, David and Michelle Guyett also of Dealtown, Murray Guyett of Comber. Proud grandfather to Craig, Darryl, Rhonda (Ian), Jeremy, Brandon, Michael, Morgan, Taylor, Kaitlyn, Brooke, Vanessa and great-grandfather to Klare, Drew and Grace. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Lloyd is predeceased by his sisters Beatrice Thompson, Irene Cook, Nettie Brown, Clara Simpson, Muriel Pick and brother Merle Guyett. Lloyd farmed in Raleigh Township his entire life. He was member of the Masonic Kent Lodge 274 AF&AM, Blenheim and a member of the AHCOM Shrine Club. Family and friends are invited to gather at the Funeral Home, 141 Park St. Blenheim on Tuesday from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. A Masonic Lodge service will be held at 7:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the Funeral Home on Wednesday, June 15, 2011 at 1:30 p.m. Pastor Eric Skillings officiating. Interment to follow at Ouvry Cemetery. Memorial donations to honour Lloyd’s life can be made to the Blenheim Ahcom Shrine Club or a charity of one's choice.
