MYERS: Mary Beth. A resident of Chatham, Mary Beth Myers passed away at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Chatham on Sunday, April 17, 2011 at the age of 51. Born in Chatham, daughter of the late John Joseph and Simone Mary (DeClark) Verbeem. Loving mother of Mitchell and Mason Kankula of Chatham. Dear sister of Larry Verbeem (Mary Lynn) of Chatham, John Verbeem (Mary Ann) of Blenheim, Ken Verbeem (Kim) of R.R.#6 Dresden, Kim Maier of Chatham, and the late Connie Shaw (1982) and George Verbeem (1982). Niece of Mary Anne Seys (Art) of Wallaceburg, Rene DeClark of Chatham, Charlie DeClark of Tillsonburg, Mary Sevigny (Joe) of Chatham, Helen Gordon of Chatham, Coba Libbrecht of Kent Bridge, Nellie Rockx of Tillsonburg, and Gill Verbeem of Chatham. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Mary Beth worked for many years at Dillon Pudwell McNeill Insurance (Chatham). She later became an R.P.N. and nursed at Four Counties Health Services (Newbury). Family will receive friends at McKinlay Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham on Tuesday from 7:00-9:00 p.m. and on Wednesday from 2:00-4:00 p.m. & 7:00-9:00 p.m. Parish Prayers at the Funeral Home on Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Liturgy will held at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 145 Victoria Ave., Chatham on Thursday, April 21, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. Cremation to follow with interment in St. Anthony Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Trust Fund for Mitchell and Mason (cheques payable to "Larry Verbeem In Trust" or "Kim Maier In Trust") would be appreciated.
