Obituary of Victor Lucio

LUCIO: Victor “Vic” George – A resident of Ridgetown, Vic Lucio passed away at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Chatham Campus on Monday, April 11, 2011 at the age of 70. Born in Ridgetown, Vic was the son of Elsie Laura (Neutens) Lucio and the late Joseph Victor Lucio (1988). Beloved husband of Wanda Lucio (nee McLean). Dear brother to Dan Lucio and his wife Marianne of Chatham, Robert Lucio and his wife Mila of Windsor area, and Delores Day and her friend Steve of Chatham. Survived by his brother-in-law John McLean and his wife Kaela of British Columbia. Also missed by many nieces, nephews, grand nieces, grand nephews, friends and extended family. Vic worked as a structural steel draftsman at Canadian Bridge in Windsor as well as for General Motors in the locomotive department in London for 26 years. Vic farmed at the home farm in Ridgetown all his life and belonged to the Vintage Tractor Club. The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home, 76 Main Street E., Ridgetown on Wednesday from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. Parish Prayers will be held on Wednesday at 3:00 p.m. A Mass of the Christian Burial will be held at St. Michael’s Church, Ridgetown on Thursday, April 14, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Blenheim. In lieu of flowers, donations made in memory of Vic to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Howard Mutual Medical Centre would be appreciated.
