Obituary of Doris M. Weaver

WEAVER: Doris Minerva (nee Rankin) A resident of Chatham, and formerly of Chatham Township, Doris Weaver passed away on Wednesday, March 9, 2011, at Riverview Gardens, at the age of 100. Born in Chatham, daughter of the late Clair & Grace (Brown) Rankin. Beloved wife of 80 years to the late Lyle Weaver. Loving mother of Ronald & the late Rosemary Weaver of Lakeland Florida, Barbara & Donald McGregor of Chatham, Vince & Yvonne Weaver of London, and the late Judy Weaver. Proud grandmother of 9, great grandmother of 12 and great great grandmother of 1. Dear sister of Ruth Packard of Chatham. Predeceased by her sister Phyllis Brown, and brothers Reginald, Lorne, Harry, and Alvin Rankin. Doris is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Please join Doris’ family as they receive friends at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair St., on Friday, March 11, 2011 from 7:00-9:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 12, at the Funeral Home, with Rev. Cathy Larmond officiating. Cremation to follow with interment at Arnold Cemetery at a later date.
